Position Overview:

HMI, a developer of analog and power management integrated circuits enabling energy-efficient smart systems is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in Korea.

As a member of the HMI Software Engineer team, you will play a pivotal role in managing device driver design, development, and debugging of Linux, Android, and other embedded systems platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include GUI for Windows OS and Linux Kernal driver development.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Android OS and Linux OS
• C / C++, C#, Python
• Embedded MCU development kits
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging tools, tests, and release management
• Android and Linux architecture
• Analyzing Kernal crash and Systrace dumps
• Willing to travel and engage with customers as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in writing embedded software or Kernel-level codes, including drivers, BSP programming, and hardware adaptions
• Power IC, such as PMIC, Switching Chargers, Bucks, and LDO experience is a plus
• Industry experience in mobile development and product application is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to perform as a team member
